Thresholds : the in-between spaces, the border lines of our experience, behaviour & imaginations, trigger points to perceptions of pleasure & pain.

During the making of this album the world turned inside out & upside down, there was plenty of life lived, but also the deaths of both my parents & dear collaborator Julee Cruise. I dedicate the music here to the continued memory of those loved ones, in celebration of their lives & to the inspiration I carry forward into my days. Connecting with creativity during this time felt like an act of defiance & over time I arrived at 9 tracks - appropriate enough as 9 symbolizes the cycle of Life, Death & Rebirth.

After a significant period of musical inactivity, I continue to emerge into these times, where the veil that separates world's feels so simply & so palpably thin. Gather ye ghosts & core angels! Live life to the full, for everything up until death, is indeed life.
